About INDX

INDX is a continuous glucose monitoring companion. It takes readings that are already flowing into your phone and turns them into plain answers about your own meals, movement, sleep, and habits.

What we are building

A CGM produces thousands of readings each day, and most apps stop at drawing them. INDX is built around the question that follows: what does this mean, and what should I do next? That means one clear reading with its trend and stability, a meal log that shows the glucose curve a meal actually caused, and a short, specific explanation two hours later rather than a verdict of "high" or "low".

The app is source-neutral by design. Apple Health is the primary way readings reach INDX, with a directly connected CGM sensor available when there is no health platform to write to. We do not tie the product to a single sensor brand, and we do not treat any one brand as the product's identity.

Because the people we build for eat differently from the users of most Western health apps, the guidance is shaped around real meals, including Chinese home cooking, rather than a generic diet template.

How we treat your data

The product is built so that we do not need to read your health data in order to run it. The app works without an account, your history lives on your device, and cloud backup is off until you enable it — at which point it is encrypted on the device with a key we never receive. That design has real costs, including that we cannot inspect your readings for support or recover an encrypted backup if the key is lost. We think the trade is the right way round for health data.

INDX does not diagnose or treat any condition and is not a substitute for professional care. It must not be used to decide medication doses or to detect low blood glucose.
