My glucose went up.
Was it all for nothing?
Why glucose rises during exercise—and how to plan fuelling and recovery
Hard exercise increases glucose supply. Understand the liver, working muscle and glycogen recovery before adjusting your fuelling.
Faster running?
Does a low-GI diet improve endurance? Choosing carbohydrate for training and racing
Everyday meals and race feeds meet different demands. Explore GI, carbohydrate amounts and the evidence from endurance testing.
What should you check?
A low CGM reading during a run: causes, checks and what to do
Understand sensor–blood differences and prepare the confirmation, treatment and emergency steps for low glucose.
Why hasn’t my weight changed?
Can glucose management help with weight loss? Insulin, food and body fat
A 24-week trial helps connect post-meal insulin, daily food intake and sustained changes in body weight.
Different glucose response?
Same meal, different glucose response: making personalised nutrition practical
From standardised meals to an 18-week programme: apply individual responses to portions, meal combinations and activity.
Could glucose be involved?
Hungry again two hours after lunch? Glucose dips, fullness and meal choices
Later glucose changes, protein and meal intervals all belong in an appetite record. Start with a familiar lunch.
What is happening?
Why hunger can make you irritable: glucose, appetite and mood
Four weeks of glucose and mood reports illuminate the experience of hunger and practical ways to organise the working day.
Sharper focus?
Does steadier glucose improve focus? Brain fuel, food and sleep
Low-glucose experiments, meal trials and sleep research explain different influences on daily concentration.
Higher glucose tomorrow?
How does sleep loss affect glucose? One short night and weeks of restriction
Duration, quality and the length of the exposure matter. Find practical priorities for a more sustainable sleep routine.
How does it affect baby’s growth?
How gestational diabetes affects fetal growth: monitoring, nutrition and care
Understand pregnancy insulin changes, fetal growth and how CGM trials inform discussions about monitoring and care.
Three checks before you make the leap.
Check the population.
A trial in athletes, diabetes or pregnancy answers a question about that setting. Ask whether it fits the person reading it.
Check what changed.
Was CGM used to measure a response, or to guide a decision? That difference changes what the study can support.
Check the endpoint.
Glucose variability, body weight, mood and performance are separate outcomes. A change in one does not establish a change in the others.

Sample size, duration, measurements and CGM exposure stay attached to each article.
About the evidence
This selected collection starts with ten anchor studies and draws on additional primary research and official guidance. Study cards identify the population, duration and measurements. Practical examples are editorial applications. Accessible full texts, abstracts and author-institution records are documented individually in the accompanying editorial files. Both languages use the same source set.
General educational information; individual diagnosis, medication and pregnancy care belong with your healthcare team. Reading estimates cover the narrative and exclude references.
